Hali's big accomplishment

Hali wanted us to share with everyone that she can now ride her bike!  (by herself)  We practiced last night at the bike path around the lake near our home.  A co-worker of Adelle's told her about a village near by called Jagersburg, which has three lakes so we decided to take Hali there tonight to practice.  To make a long story short- Hali learned to ride her bike tonight in Jagersburg!!  Nate and Adelle then took a Jagerbomb to celebrate.  (Not really, we just went and got eis cafe (ice cream).  We took a video of her riding for the first time so here it is:

Also, more news about Hali- she expressed interest this summer in riding horses.  There are a lot of stables over here that teach children how to ride so we have signed her up for equestrian classes.  She is beyond excited about it and we will share some pictures after her first lesson, which is this Saturday.

Our House

Our household goods have finally made it!!!  They were delivered last Saturday and we have been busy all week unpacking, organizing, and decorating. It is a bit overwhelming since we are dealing with some of the differences with the German houses (i.e. no linens closets, cabinets, or extra storage in the house.) So far we have fully finished the the guest bedroom, the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, and the first floor bathroom. So we will share you some of the pics of those now.
Here is our guest bedroom. So if you plan to visit here is your five star accommodations (LOL).

The office is in the corner of our living room.

Here is our living room. We took some with our rolladens up and some with them down. We are absolutely in love with the corner windows. :)
Here is our dining room. It leads to the outdoor patio.  We went to a local German Mobel (furniture store) to get a new dining room set.

Finally here is our kitchen - it's small but it'll do the trick :)

So far we are really enjoying our home.  The girls adjusted really well, the dogs not so much but they are doing much better now.  We are still working on getting the upstairs and outside situated and will post pictures of those areas soon!

Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.

Love, The Ponce's

4th of July pics

For the 4th of July we decided to go down to the lake and spend some time as a family and take some pictures in our American red white and blue gear. We did not have our household goods shipment yet and Nate did not have red white and blue attire so he was our photographer for the day. We love Germany but we are still proud to be Americans!!!

Thanks Kelly and Evan for my 4th of July outfit!
